FAQ

General Info - #RSDDrops

The process and rules in place are mostly the same. The only big difference is the list!

Due to ongoing supply chain issues, some titles simply were not available in time for the April Record Store Day. These titles were pushed back to June 18th. A few titles have been added since April.

A big difference for us is the location! We have moved stores since the last RSD. We are now at 962 Baxter Avenue on the second floor (above the El Nopal). This is about a mile from the last store!

We ordered most of the titles on the list! We have started to receive inventory in as of the week of June 6th, but we will not have final counts until a couple of days before Record Store Day on June 18th. Like we did in April, we will post a spreadsheet with more information on quantities much closer to the day of.

We do expect at least a small line before we open.

We do not expect demand to be quite the same as it was in April, but we do expect to see very high demand for a small selection of titles on this list. If you're interested in a title that has a limited run or a small number pressed (Nicki Minaj and My Morning Jacket, for example) you will want to get here early.

We can't! All titles are first-come first-served and in-store only on Record Store Day on June 18th.

We had to sign a pledge with Record Store Day. They (and we) take this pledge very seriously. Please do not ask any member of our staff to hold a Record Store Day title for you.

We are offering 10% off our entire inventory of non-RSD titles. This means all non-RSD CDs and vinyl (including used records) will be 10% off in-store only on Record Store Day!

All Record Store Day titles are strictly in-person only for RSD on June 18th due to the RSD pledge. This is all about celebrating your local, independent record store and we encourage you to visit your local store on RSD.

Any titles we have left AFTER Record Store Day will be posted online on Sunday, June 19th at 8 AM ET.
