Shipping policy

We do our best to ship all orders within 2-3 business days, with many orders leaving our warehouse the next business day. Merchandise orders are made on-demand and may take 3-5 business days to leave the warehouse.

Estimated Timelines:

  • USPS Media Mail (most domestic orders)5-15 business days.
  • First Class United States: 3-7 business days
  • First Class International: 7-21 business days

We do not refund international shipping costs on orders that fail due to customer failure to enter information correctly or pay necessary customs (more below on customs).

Typically, items arrive much faster than the estimated dates above. For some items, we do offer USPS priority mail for an increased fee if you need an item even faster.

Items Returned to Sender:

In the event an item is returned to us because of customer-error (incorrect address, refusing delivery, etc). the item will be refunded minus the cost of shipping and restocked on the website. Please double check your address and contact us with any changes before it is shipped.


Pre-Order items are labeled on the product's individual page with the estimated street date. We do our best to ship preorder items on or around the given date, but may experience delays due to records coming in late from the label. In the event this happens, we will notify you as soon as possible to provide as much transparency as possible.

Multi-item orders that contain pre-orders will ship on the date that pre-orders become available. If you need the other items in the order quickly, it is strongly recommended that you place separate orders for the pre-order item. 

Pre-Order titles are final sale. We place orders with suppliers based on pre-orders and are unable to cancel them after your order has been placed. Please contact us if you need to change your address.

Shipping Costs:

We have two distribution centers in the United States in New York and Kentucky. All orders will ship from one of these two states. Vinyl orders come in a media mailer with extra protection and reinforced corners. All new records will ship in their original factory-sealed package and cannot be returned once the factory seal is broken as outlined in our returns policy.

We are vinyl collectors ourselves and take shipping very seriously. That said, mistakes, while rare, do happen.

All vinyl orders are shipped via media mail in the United States. Some items may be eligible for priority shipping. If it is, you will see the option available to you at checkout. Items shipped from our Kentucky location are eligible for international shipping. This includes most pre-orders and all items found on our Ships International page.

International items are not available at a flat rate. International orders are shipped based on package weight. If we find that you substantially overpaid for shipping and handling because the calculation was off, we will automatically refund a part of your order when it ships. Please note, the cost of the packaging products is included in the cost of shipping.

Our shipping rates for records in the United States are flat rates depending on where they are shipped from. Items from our Louisville, KY distribution center ship for a flat rate of $7, items from our New York distribution center ship for a flat rate of $7. This means your total for shipping in the United States will never exceed $14 unless you purchase an item that has a separate flat shipping rate that is listed on the product page or select priority shipping.

Our shipping costs include high-quality LP mailers, necessary postage, labor, and reinforcement to ensure your record gets to you safely. We occasionally offer promotions for free shipping, free shipping on some products, and free shipping automatically on all orders over $99.00 in the United States regardless of where the record is coming from. No coupon needed!

Lastly, please understand that because of COVID-19 and increased package volume, there are some delays in deliveries in some areas. USPS uses estimated deliveries. Most packages arrive by their estimated delivery date, but some do not. Shipping delays are out of your control and we cannot refund you for a delayed package.

If you have not received your purchase within 21 days, please contact us via the contact form so that we can take the necessary steps to file a claim. We're collectors ourselves and will do everything possible to make sure that your package is delivered.

An additional note on international shipping: 

Our rate for international shipping is the cost of postage + a $2.00 handling fee. We use the Shopify platform and it calculates shipping costs automatically. While we are working on a fix and it may get better over time, it is our policy to refund any costs of shipping paid over the cost of shipping + $2.00. The handling fee covers labor and packaging materials. If a refund is necessary, you will receive a separate notice when your order ships.

International shipping: customs

Customs charges differ from country to country. Because of this, it is on you to find out what the charges will be. If your package is returned to us because you refused to pay customs, we will not make a refund. You will be responsible for the shipping costs and return shipping costs and any customs due that is billed to us. It is more cost-effective to pay any necessary customs charges. We will handle the paperwork, it is your responsibility to make sure your contact info is up to date when you place your order.
